What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a method of applying a highly durable finish to various substrates. Most commonly used on metal, powder coating offers an incredibly durable finish that paints and epoxies can not achieve. It is applied using a specialized electrostatic spray deposition gun and then oven cured at 400F. After powder coating, my tumblers go through a laser engraving process. The high intensity laser beam vaporizes the coating exposing the metal beneath so that you won't have to worry about your image falling off.
